New York City comprises 5 boroughs sitting where the Hudson River meets the Atlantic Ocean. At its core is Manhattan, a densely populated borough that’s among the world’s major commercial, financial and cultural centers. Its iconic sites include skyscrapers such as the Empire State Building and sprawling Central Park. Broadway theater is staged in neon-lit Times Square.

Cruise Day 2: Newport, Rhode Island (Sunday: August 30, 2020 / 8:00AM - 4:00PM
The Breakers mansionNewport is a seaside city on Aquidneck Island in Newport County, Rhode Island, located approximately 33 miles southeast of Providence. This is a place and a people made of surf and soul; raised by the ocean and built by eccentric and outspoken rebels some 300-plus years ago. If you’re looking for classic Colonial architecture and breathtaking New England landscapes this is the place.
Included Shore Excursion: Trolley Tour with The Breakers and Marble House - See two of Newport's most spectacular mansions on our trolley excursion that includes guided tours of The Breakers and Marble House, both former Vanderbilt homes. In addition to the two mansion tours, the trolley is a great way to get an overview of Newport's mansions and coastal scenery, as we'll travel along Bellevue Avenue and Ocean Drive, two of the town's most exclusive neighborhoods. Our onboard guide will share Newport facts and history throughout the tour, which passes more than 150 points of interest.


Boston Freedom TrailCruise Day 3: Boston, Massachusetts (Monday: August 31, 2020 / 10:00AM - 8:00PM)
Boston is Massachusetts’ capital and largest city. Founded in 1630, it’s one of the oldest cities in the U.S. The key role it played in the American Revolution is highlighted on the Freedom Trail, a 2.5-mile walking route of historic sites that tells the story of the nation’s founding. One stop, former meeting house Faneuil Hall, is a popular marketplace.
Included Shore Excursion: 
Hop-on Hop-off Trolly and Freedom Trail Walking Tour - Today will be a mix use of walking and hop-on hop-off bus usage. The Freedom Trail is a unique collection of museums, churches, meeting houses, burying grounds, parks, a ship, and historic markers that tell the story of the American Revolution and beyond. The Trail starts at USS ConstitutionBoston Common and is 2.5 miles long and ends at the U.S.S. Constitution and Bunker Hill Monument in Charlestown. Our walking tour will highlight the revolutionary history that took place at 11 of the 16 official Freedom Trail historic sites, featuring Boston Common, Massachusetts State House, Park Street Church, Granary Burying Ground, King's Chapel & King's Chapel Burying Ground, Boston Latin School site/Benjamin Franklin statue, Old Corner Bookstore, Old South Meeting House, Old State House, Boston Massacre site, and Faneuil Hall.


Cruise Day 4: Bar Harbor, Maine  (Tuesday: September 1, 2020 / 8:00AM - 5:00PM)
Bar Harbor MaineBar Harbor is a town on Mount Desert Island along Maine’s Frenchman Bay. It serves as a gateway to the mountains and cliffs of neighboring Acadia National Park. Towering over the park, Cadillac Mountain has trails and views of the town, the bay and the Cranberry Islands. Sand Beach is ringed by mountains. From the town pier, the Shore Path winds along the bay overlooking the Atlantic Ocean and the Porcupine Islands.
Included Shore Excursions: Acadia National Park Tour & Lobster Fishing And Seal Watching -  Experience one of the most scenic drives on the East Coast during our memorable visit to Acadia National Park. Boarding our coach, we will set-off on the drive to Acadia National Park, passing through the quaint town of Bar Harbor. View some of the charming Victorian mansions built by America's rich and famous at the turn of the 20th century. Our tour emphasizes the history of Bar Harbor and Acadia, the geology, the wildlife, and much more. Upon arrival at Acadia National Park, we will make three photos stops including the summit of Cadillac Bar Harbor seal watchingMountain, Thunder Hole (an ocean-side stop), and either Sieur De Monts Spring (Wild Gardens of Acadia) or the Jordan Pond House.
Then we return to the pier to board one of Maine’s lobster passenger boats to watch experienced fisherman haul in lobster traps from the ocean floor as our guide tells us everything about lobster fishing. Once the traps are hauled in, we can touch the lobsters, crabs, sea cucumbers, sea stars, and anything else that was caught. Next we head off to a small island to view seals basking on the rocks or swimming in the nearby water. Throughout the trip, we’ll be cruising in Frenchman Bay, where beautiful cottages line the shore and the granite mountains of Acadia National Park rise majestically from the sea.


Cruise Day 5: Saint John, Bay of Fundy, New Brunswick  (Wednesday: September 2, 2020 / 8:00AM - 4:00PM)
bay of fundySaint John is a city on the Bay of Fundy, in New Brunswick, Canada. It’s known for the Reversing Rapids, a phenomenon caused by bay tides colliding with the Saint John River. Food and craft stalls fill the Saint John City Market, in an 1876 building. On a peninsula nearby, trails wind through Irving Nature Park’s salt marshes, volcanic rock and forests. The 1913 Imperial Theatre stages plays, concerts and dance.
Included Shore Excursion: Top Sites of Saint John & St Martins - Get to know Saint John with its quaint villages and sites that date back to the 18th century and haven't changed much since. Travel to the seaside community of St. Martins and step back in time and sense the serenity of this area with its wharf, fishing boats, and piled lobster traps. With the ocean as a backdrop, see Hopewell Rocks New Brunswickthe lighthouses and twin covered bridges. Visit the wave-carved sea caves in the sandstone cliff if the tide is low enough to allow access while we're there. Learn about this small community's wooden ship building industry and see some of the highest tides in the world ebb and flow. Stop at the famous Reversing Falls, where the huge tides from the Bay of Fundy force the mighty Saint John River. Before returning to the cruise ship, we'll stop and explore the unique Old City Market in the heart of Saint John and learn why the local folks have loved to buy fresh produce here since 1876.


Citadel Hill HalifaxCruise Day 6: Halifax, Nova Scotia  (Thursday: September 3, 2020 / 10:00AM - 7:00PM)
Halifax, an Atlantic Ocean port in eastern Canada, is the provincial capital of Nova Scotia. A major business centre, it’s also known for its maritime history. The city’s dominated by the hilltop Citadel, a star-shaped fort completed in the 1850s. Waterfront warehouses known as the Historic Properties recall Halifax’s days as a trading hub for privateers, notably during the War of 1812.
Included Shore Excursion: Halifax City and Peggy’s Cove Tour - Our tour will highlight Halifax, the largest city east of Montreal and the capital of Nova Scotia. Founded in 1749 to protect British interests in peggys coveNorth America, Halifax is steeped in maritime history. Our driving tour will take us by the city’s most well-known buildings and landmarks such as the Titanic Cemetery, City Gardens, Pier 21, and the Halifax Farmers Market.
Enjoy a scenic, one hour drive to Peggy’s Cove, a picturesque fishing village nestled on the rocky shoreline of St. Margaret's Bay.  Our local guide will point out notable sights, landmark, and scenic views along the way. After an informative overview of Peggy's Cove, there will be time to explore this small fishing village. Spend time climbing over the rocks, sipping on a coffee, or snap a selfie in front of the most photographed lighthouse in the world. 


Bras DOr LakesCruise Day 7: Sydney, Nova Scotia  (Friday: September 4, 2020 / 10:00AM - 7:00PM)
Sydney is a harbour town on Cape Breton Island, in Nova Scotia, Canada. By the water, the Big Fiddle is a huge violin statue honouring local music. Wooden 18th-century buildings include the Cossitt and Jost houses, now museums with period furniture. St. Patrick’s Church Museum showcases local history in an 1828 church. East, at Glace Bay, the Cape Breton Miners’ Museum explores the area’s coal-mining heritage.
Included Shore Excursion: Bras D’Or Lakes and Baddeck Tour - Our day begins with a guided Baddeck Nova Scotiascenic tour from Sydney to Baddeck, a picturesque village nestled on the shores of the shimmering Bras 'Dor Lakes, an inland sea with both salt and freshwater. Visit the Alexander Graham Bell National Historic Site to hear about the extraordinary life and works of Graham Bell. Take a stroll through the village and explore the shops, enjoy lunch at one of the restaurants that line the main street or perhaps relax while watching the boats sail the calm waters of the lake.


Cruise Day 8: Charlottetown, Prince Edward Island (Saturday: September 5, 2020 / 10:00AM - 7:00PM)
Charlottetown Prince Edward IslandCharlottetown is the capital of Canada’s Prince Edward Island. It's on the southern coast of the province. The Province House National Historic Site hosted the Charlottetown Conference of 1864, spurring the country’s birth. Victoria Row has shops, restaurants and the Confederation Centre of the Arts, with its musical based on “Anne of Green Gables.” Nearby is the Gothic Revival St. Dunstan’s Basilica.
Included Shore Excursion: Charlottetown Walking Tour - Discover why Charlottetown is called “the city of churches and trees” as we stroll through the historic downtown area. Discover beautiful churches, view Victorian era homes and hear about the famous Conference of 1864, which gave the beaconsfield historic housecity its designation as the birthplace of Canada. 
Then we visit Beaconsfield Historic House, built in 1877 as the residence of a wealthy shipbuilder. It is an enduring symbol of Victorian elegance and its garden and veranda offer a perfect view of beautiful Charlottetown Harbour.
Enjoy free time to visit the Government House and home of the Lieutenant Governor, an 1834 Georgian mansion on lush grounds, take a free brewery tour or shop at the many quaint stores. 


Cruise Day 9: Day at Sea (Sunday: September 6, 2020)

Cruise Day 10: La Baie (Saguenay River) (Monday: September 7, 2020 / 10:00AM - 7:00PM)

From 1976 to 2001, it was known as the Town of La Baie, a municipality composed of the Grande-Baie, Bagotville, and Port-Alfred sectors. It is located on the bank of the Ha! Ha!

Our cruise ends at the charming village of L’Anse St-Jean where we’ll have some free time to explore this little village. Cruise Day 11: Quebec fallQuébec City sits on the Saint Lawrence River in Canada's mostly French-speaking Québec province. Dating to 1608, it has a fortified colonial core, Vieux-Québec and Place Royale, with stone buildings and narrow streets. This area is the site of the towering Château Frontenac Hotel and imposing Citadelle of Québec. The Petit Champlain district’s cobblestone streets are lined with bistros and boutiques.
Included Shore Excursion: Quebec City and Montmorency Falls - Get to know Québec City with our local guide who will share his historic knowledge with us. Hear about the past and get a glimpse into the future of Québec City. Explore Old Québec with its narrow streets, stone buildings and European feel. Learn about the city's history and culture while driving past the Fortifications of Québec, the Citadelle of Québec, Notre-Dame-des-Victoires Church and other sites. Visit Place Royale, often referred to as the birthplace of French America, and the beautiful Plains of Abraham, where the famous Battle of Québec between the French Montmorency Fallsand English armies took place in the Seven Years’ War.
The 272 feet high Montmorency Falls, located at the mouth of the Montmorency River, empties into the St. Lawrence River. There is a cable car that will take us between the base and the top of the falls. Enjoy the ride and the exceptional view A suspension bridge with a spectacular view connects the two sides of the park. Keep walking along the path until you get to the 487-step staircase down the side of the cliff that will bring you to the foot of the falls. 


Cruise Day 12: Quebec City (Tuesday: September 9, 2020/ 12:00AM )
Our cruise ship docks early this morning. Time for breakfast before saying goodbye to all your new friends. Transfer to the airport for your flights home. Have a safe flight!
